Threehens and a rooster are perched upon individual Victorian houses around thelibrary’s exterior. Inside the library are a series of ‘chick and egg’sculptures: a chick standing atop a stack of twelve Emu eggs; twelve small eggsand a chick upon a shelf of old barn wood aside the fireplace; and on theopposite side of the fireplace, twelve chicks and one egg. All of the forms arecast in bronze.
