Bronze. Half life-size.
The original plastecine sculpture was created from the live model in a 6 hour session, and more without the model. I then pulled the mother mold and, using the "Lost Wax" investment casting method I cast the figure in bronze. She was one of 22 figures in the MFA thesis show.
Sequential figures retain process marks of their creation, as well as crazing flash marks from a special process I employ in casting the bronze.
